Nothing. ChatLingo runs entirely in your browser. Message text is sent only to the translation provider you choose, and only when you (or auto-translate) ask for a translation. We do not store, log, or sell any message text.
When you activate a paid license, we call api.lemonsqueezy.com to verify the license key. The request includes your license key and a randomly generated device identifier created locally in this browser. No personal information is sent.
If you select ChatLingo Cloud as your provider, message text is sent to api.chatlingo.paibao.ai along with your license key. The request is processed in memory and discarded; we keep aggregate counters (number of characters per day) for billing-quota enforcement, not the content itself.
If you select OpenAI, DeepSeek, DeepL, Google, or Gemini, your API key and message text go directly from your browser to that provider. ChatLingo never sees either. The provider's privacy policy applies.
To delete all local data, uninstall the extension or visit chrome://extensions → ChatLingo → "Remove".
